Way to Riga
There are different ways how to get
to Riga.
By plane
Riga International Airport handles
direct flights to Riga from
many cities.
By train
The Latvian Railway offers
several regular routes

By bus
Riga International Bus Station handles
direct trips to Riga from different countries

By car
Highway road via Baltic E67 linking Tallin, Riga and Vilnius
is recommended.
By ferry
The Riga terminal has ferry route to
Stockholm, Sweden.
If you come to Riga by plane,
then the bus line number 22 takes you directly to the downtown
Riga from Riga International Airport with frequency of 10 to
30 minutes from 5:45 to 23:45 Monday – Sunday in about 30 minutes
(city
traffic schedules). To get on the bus at the airport look for bus stop located opposite the terminal behind the car park. The trip takes up to half an hour and fee is 0.70 LVL. The paper ticket is sold by public transport drivers (in cash only). It is cheaper to buy a ticket (e-talons) for a certain number of trips (you can buy it in ticket vending machines, press trade outlets only).
Transportation to the airport is also provided by “Park Hotel”, “Hotel Māra”, “Islande Hotel” un “Radison SAS” buses. Check the fairs at the hotel during the reservation.
You can also travel from the airport to the city centre “Airport Express” minibuses provided by “airBaltic”.
The price for a ride is LVL 3. Payments are accepted in cash (lats only) or by a payment card. For more information please visit airBaltic website.
The city center and/or the conference venue from the airport can be reached using taxi cabs. Journey time is approximately 15-20 minutes. Charge – 1.50 LVL for embarkation plus 0.50 per kilometer or about 15 LVL for the whole journey.
