June 2 – June 6, 2014, Riga, Latvia

The present Conference follows the previous meetings in this series held in Riga (Jurmala) from 1965. The The XVIII International Conference intends to keep the customary themes of discussion. Traditionally, on the Riga conferences, the number of participants ranges 200 - 300 scientists. So the conference offers a good opportunity to meet colleagues from all over the world.

SCIENTIFIC PROGRAMME will include invited plenary papers, session and poster contributions.

IMPORTANT DATES

December 1, 2013 January 15, 2014 — Submission of one-page Abstracts preferably together with full papers.
ABSTRACT SUBMISSION DEADLINE: EXTENDED
The deadline for abstract submission has been extended to January 15, 2014. This follows several requests by prospective authors who intend to present papers. All the abstract submissions that have been received will be replied as soon as possible.
February 1, 2014  — Notification of Acceptance to be sent to Authors.
March 1, 2014 — Submission of Full Texts of Papers.
April 1, 2014 —The Conference Programme will be mailed and available on the Conference website.

OFFICIAL LANGUAGE of the Conference will be English.

BOOK of ABSTRACTS will be available at the Conference opening.

Authors are encouraged to submit FULL-LENGTH PAPERS as they are completed to the journal Mechanics of Composite Materials. This can be done by submitting directly to conference scientific secretary, or alternatively to the journal on-line. Papers may be submitted in English or Russian.
